When I'm building a Weight-loss routine for a new client, I have few foundational principles I like to stick you. However, no two women have the same body, genetics, goals or lifestyles. There must be an individualized component to each routine, treating each woman's program with a level of exclusivity & uniqueness.

Sustainable calorie deficit

Think of Calories like money. To lose 1 pound per week, it's going to cost you 3,500 calories. How do you wanna pay for that pound? A Sustainable way to go about it with be to cut 500 cals off your nutrition per day. 7 days x 500 calories = 3,500 cals.

Trauma can be associated with any experience that has a negative, lingering effect on the way you live your life. Like the woman who mindlessly eats at night when she's home alone for comfort, even if the habit makes her gain unwanted pounds over time. Or the women who was teased as a child for being overweight & now has a stigma of how people perceive her apperance her in gym clothes. The truth is Trauma hijacks our stories & cheats us out of our birthright of Safety & Joy. According to Trauma specialist, Dr. Paul Conti , trauma has the ability to change our emotions & memories, alter our decisions, even change the course of our lives & deaths.

Toxoplasma gondii is a Brain Parasite so deadly to rodents that it can trick mice into losing its fear of cats so they are more likely to be eaten without the mice even being aware of the control it has over its brain. Like the parasites, Trauma can't be seen & many people don't even recognize when they're suffering from trauma until it's too late. Instead of being eaten by cat, trauma will cause many women to over-eat, refuse to exercise & avoid any help that come their way.

Doctors & Medical staff often treat symptoms of trauma rather than the root cause & health care as a whole is not equip to deal with the trauma pandemic. There are some exceptional holistic doctors like Dr. Conti, who are available, but ultimately it's up to you to do the shadow work necessary to overcome these traumas that have been keeping you from being happy.

Trauma is like having something stuck in your teeth. You won't know it's there until you look in the mirror or someone tells you.
